New Balance is going big for Grey Day this year. The unofficial sneaker holiday started in 2018 as a way for the brand to celebrate its heritage and iconic grey colorway. Usually, the celebration is confined to a singular release in the middle of May, though for 2024, the festivities will take place all month long.
“Grey Days” 2024 kicks off with the launch of The Grey Shop on May 1st, where customers can purchase new and existing grey styles across New Balance’s lifestyle, performance, Numeric, and kids ranges. This includes popular footwear models like the 550, 574, and 327, as well as apparel. The Grey Shop can be found on the New Balance website and in New Balance stores.

May 17: “Grey Days” WRPD Runner and 1906R
May 20: Fresh Foam X 1080 “Grey”
May 23: District Vision x New Balance SC Elite v4 and apparel
May 23: KAWHI IV “Grey Days”
May 24: Coco CG1 “Grey” and Fresh Foam Audazo Numeric
New Balance will also release a “Grey Days” short film on May 10th that pays homage to the brand’s impact on the many facets of sneaker culture, from sport to street and everything in between. The film will include notable figures across athletics and entertainment, such as Santan Dave, Chase Young, Brianna Selby, Andrew Reynolds, and more.
