Shaquille O’Neal and The Notorious B.I.G.'s “You Can’t Stop the Reign” Now Available on Streaming Services

For the first time since its release nearly three decades ago, Shaquille O’Neal and The Notorious B.I.G.'s iconic track “You Can’t Stop the Reign” is now available on streaming services. Originally produced by Chris “Large” Jones and released in 1996, the track served as the title track for Shaq’s third studio album.

The song was notable for its three distinct versions: a single featuring only Shaq, an album track including verses from the legendary Biggie Smalls, and a remix by DJ Quik. During a previous interview on Drink Champs, Shaq revealed that there exists a more explicit version of Biggie's verse that has never been released, expressing his deep respect for Biggie's artistry and the necessity to edit the verse for a wider audience.

Additionally, Shaq is set to re-release the entire "You Can’t Stop the Reign" album on June 28. This re-release will feature his previous collaborations with notable artists such as JAY-Z, Mobb Deep, DJ Quik, Peter Gunz, and Lord Tariq. Fans can now relive the classic tracks and appreciate the blend of Shaq's unique rap style and Biggie's legendary flow, marking a significant moment in the history of hip-hop and sports crossover.
